1. Overview
White Glove Cargo LLC ("WGC," "we," "us," or "our") provides premium logistics, delivery, and white-glove transportation services throughout the United States. By engaging our services, requesting a quote, or accessing our website, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). These Terms outline the obligations, rights, and responsibilities between WGC and its customers, vendors, and partners.
2. Service Commitments
- Professional Standards: WGC commits to providing reliable, safe, and courteous service through our trained staff and certified carriers.
- Scheduling: All appointments, deliveries, and pickups are performed according to the quoted time window. Actual service times may vary due to weather, road conditions, or unforeseen delays.
- Access & Site Requirements: Customers must ensure proper site access (including loading zones, elevator access, and clear pathways) at scheduled times.
- Equipment & Handling: White Glove Cargo uses industry-standard equipment. Any special handling instructions must be communicated prior to dispatch.
3. Quotes, Rates, and Payment
- Quotes: All quotes are valid for fifteen (15) calendar days from issuance unless otherwise stated. Quotes are based on the information provided at the time of request.
- Adjustments: Changes in scope (e.g., additional labor, distance, waiting time, stairs, or assembly) may result in updated pricing.
- Payments: Payment terms are as agreed upon in the quote or client agreement. Standard terms are Net 15 unless otherwise stated.
- Deposits: Certain large or specialized jobs may require a deposit before scheduling.
- Accepted Methods: WGC accepts ACH, wire transfer, credit card, or company check.
4. Cancellations and Rescheduling
- Standard Jobs: Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to scheduled service may incur a cancellation fee up to 50% of the quoted total.
- Special Projects or Long-Distance Jobs: Require at least 72-hour notice to avoid forfeiture of deposits.
- Rescheduling: May be accommodated subject to crew and equipment availability.
5. Insurance and Liability
- Coverage: WGC maintains a valid Certificate of Insurance (COI) covering general liability, auto, and cargo.
- Customer Claims: Any visible damage must be reported upon delivery or within 24 hours in writing with photographic evidence.
- Limitations: WGC's liability for loss or damage is limited to the declared value stated on the Bill of Lading or to the amount required by law, whichever is less.
- Third-Party Property: WGC is not responsible for damage caused by inadequate site preparation, improper measurements, or unsafe conditions not disclosed prior to service.
6. Vendor and Carrier Relationships
- Network Standards: All carriers and vendors engaged by WGC must maintain active insurance, safety compliance, and background-checked personnel.
- Subcontracting: WGC reserves the right to assign qualified partner carriers under our operational oversight.
- Performance: Vendors are required to meet on-time SLAs, submit ePODs (electronic Proof of Delivery), and adhere to WGC brand standards.
7. Electronic Communication & Proof of Delivery
- Digital Documentation: Signatures, photos, and ePODs are considered legally binding records of completion.
- Consent: By using WGC services, you consent to receive digital confirmations, invoices, and updates by email or SMS.
8. Confidentiality & Data
- Client Information: All client, vendor, and operational data are treated as confidential.
- Data Use: Information collected is used strictly for operational purposes and is not shared with third parties except as required by law or necessary to complete services.
- Security: WGC uses secure systems and encryption for data handling where applicable.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WGC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to lost profits, downtime, or delays caused by external factors (e.g., traffic, weather, mechanical failure).
10. Dispute Resolution
- Governing Law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Mississippi.
- Arbitration: Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be settled by binding arbitration in Hinds County, Mississippi.
- Legal Fees: The prevailing party in any legal or arbitration proceeding shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.
11. Modifications
WGC reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised "Last Updated" date.
